I'm back! Back from Mexico that is. This past week I went on my first ever girl's vacation to Cancún, Mexico for 5 days and 4 nights. It was amazing and definitely a needed vacation. We were all so lucky to have found our resort and flight for under $1,000. We paid close to nothing for it compared to other vacation tours we looked at prior to booking. We stayed at The Pyramid at Grand Oasis which is an All Inclusive resort. We did not have to come out of pocket for food, entertainment on the resort and drinks! How amazing is that. We did however do several different excursions which cost extra but still overall, our trip was not very expensive. We all loved the resort so much. All of the staff members were incredibly nice, our rooms were beautiful, the food and drinks were delicious and the environment was definitely one to remember. I will for sure be going back to The Pyramid at Grand Oasis and I recommend anyone going to Cancún to look them up!
For those wondering, I have only traveled a few times in my life so I was thrilled to go out of the country on this all girl's vacation. It felt even better that I paid for the entire vacation with my own money. That is kind of a big deal for me! I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my 20th birthday.
Aside from the amazing resort and beautiful scenery, we went on 2 different excursion tours. Our first tour was with Selvatica The Adventure Tribe which we all loved. This excursion tour included 40 different zip-lines, ATV riding through the jungle, swimming in a cenote and a free meal. We booked this excursion through Viator.com for about $135 per person and it was so worth every penny. Our other excursion trip was through Sumba. We found this excursion through our resort and it only cost us $75. This excursion included a boat ride to a private island, snorkeling and parasailing with unlimited drinks and a free meal. I unfortunately got sea sick on the boat but I still enjoyed myself the best I could.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy these photos from my trip and you can watch a full vlog video of the trip on my YouTube channel by clicking the link below. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the trip, how we booked everything, recommendations, etc. Just comment below or send me a brief email.
