My Fashion Inspirations

 

  

My all time favorite fashion icon is Solange Knowles. For the past few years I have stalked this woman (sad I know). I never enjoyed her music but her style is impeccable. Just being honest. She is very bold and daring with her style. She isn't afraid to mix prints and colors and she does it so effortlessly. In my opinion, her style stands out from any other celebrity. My personal style is not this cool ;) but I think it takes a lot of guts to pull off half of the looks in Solange's wardrobe. She is also my natural hair icon! Today, many natural hair blogs and Instagram pages only show the curly haired, long haired ladies. It drives me crazy. Solange does not care about the texture of her hair or what others think about it. Hair is hair.

 

Rihanna is of course on my list of fashion inspirations! Her style is very bold but in a more feminine way. She gets a lot of critics on what she wears but I love it. She does not care what other people think or what other people consider to be fashionable. I struggled with this all through out high school which is why I find her style so interesting.

 

Kourtney Kardashian is overlooked for her sense of style a lot! I would say that her style is very modern and subtle. She keeps it simple, just like me for the most part! Of course, she has the money to buy the brand names but others can easily achieve her style. Retail stores like H&M and Forever 21 have the same style pieces at affordable prices. The key is to style them up to make them look more sophisticated and "expensive".

 

Negin Mirsalehi is another fashion inspiration of mine. She is also a fellow blogger. I first came across Negin on Instagram a year or so ago and fell in love with her style. When I found out that she had a blog I immediately began to check it out daily! She is a great blogger and she has a great sense of style. I will link her blog below, I suggest you all check it out. I find fashion inspiration just about everywhere! I love street style looks the most. I can find inspiration in a look put together by YOU! As I mentioned before, I consider my personal style to be a mixture of casual chic, sporty chic, bohemian and modern. I like to play around a lot. I remember reading a quote one day that made me giggle. It is something I live by now. The quote read

 

"Life is too short to wear boring clothes."
