I know I am late, but Happy Mother's Day to those who have been chosen to bare the beauty of creating and caring for another human being. I hope you all enjoyed your day and took good care of your mothers, grandmothers, aunts and so on. Unfortunately, I had to work for a bit yesterday but I did get the chance to take my mother to dinner and give her some time to herself. My mother does not ask for much.
Now, on to the look. As mentioned before, I did have work yesterday but I feel that this look was a perfect casual outfit for the typical events of Mother's Day. I am sure many of you did things like go to the National Harbor, have outdoor brunch, maybe went to the Zoo or church. I feel that this look would be perfect for any of the above outings. Not to mention it is very appropriate for the hotter weather as the pants are very light and breezy and the shoes are leather so they are not that hot on your feet. This look was super easy to put together and I am sure you all can recreate the look with items already in your closet.
