Topshop Oxfords

Another day, another post. I wanted to share my outfit details with you all. I loved this outfit so much! It was very "me". I felt very chic and sporty like in this look. It was fairly easy to put together as well.  I also included a few close up pictures of my hair (I knew you all would ask). So I will start with that. My hair has grown so much and I am very pleased. I normally do wash and gos for my hair as those are my favorite. However, lately I have been liking my twist outs, bantu knot outs and braid outs more. In these pictures I am rocking a twist out on blow dried hair. I was surprised by the turn out! To achieve this look I blow dried my hair using LOW heat. After blow drying my hair, I began twisting using the Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Styling Butter while adding little water to each section. I secure my twist with bobby pins (only because my hair is still pretty short). I slept with a satin bonnet and in the morning took the twist out and styled it! Easy peezy.

Now on to my outfit details.

I am a sucker for a tucked in blouse. Any outfit can look more put together if you tuck in your shirt/blouse. This outfit was for work, so obviously a tucked in blouse was more appropriate. My blouse is Forever 21. I purchased this blouse as apart of my work wardrobe. I love the front pleats and the collar. It looks very professional. I found my pants this past weekend at Urban Outfitters. They were having there "50% off Sale" sale (lol) so I purchased these pants for $10! A great fashion find. My shoes are by Topshop. I found these lovely lace up oxfords at Tysons Corner in Nordstrom. They were $60 but so worth it! I love them entirely too much. I want to go back to see if they have more colors. Terrible, I know. My accessories, like always, are SUPER simple. I am wearing a red skinny belt and my infamous thumb ring. I'm a simple gal when it comes to accessories. I just don't really have much of a need/want for them, ya know.

That's it for now my loves! Stay tuned xo

  1. OBSESSED WITH THIS OUTFIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very tomboyish but the accent of the thin red belt and pleats in the black top give it that elegant but very simple feminine touch!!! Love seeing the style evolution throughout your blog! Can't wait for future post! :)
