Saying Hello

Hi everyone! I know it has been so long since my last post so I want to apologize for my absence. So much has changed for me within these past few months! I got a new job, I am back in school and I am looking for my first apartment. I have been busy busy busy! But anyway, I am coming to you all with another outfit post. This outfit was inspired by NYFW street style. I saw a ton of beautiful and chic outfits from NYFW that I absolutely fell in love with. The most inspiring styles where the mod chic looks. A lot of people were wearing midi tulle skirts with crop tops, tank tops and blouses paired with adorable pumps and oxford loafers. This style reminds me so much of Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City (my all time favorite movie/show). See below for all outfit details.

My skirt is Forever 21. I purchased this midi/maxi skirt about 2 summers ago and it is still timeless in my wardrobe. I believe it was initially a maxi skirt but because of my height it fits me more like a midi skirt. It is very light weight and it has an elastic band around the waist which is what I love about this skirt. The band makes it super comfortable. My basic tank top is from H&M. This tank is also a staple in my wardrobe. It is cut low on the sides so it gives a little bare peak which I love. My necklace is from Forever 21 as well. It is SO old I cannot even remember how much  I paid for it. I'm usually not one to wear bold costume jewelry but I felt as though this outfit needed something bold. My shoes are the low wedge strappy heels I mentioned in a few post before. Unfortunately they are getting old :( so I had to throw them away. So sad. I'm sure I'll find another pair just like them next summer! I hope you all enjoyed this post and again, I apologize for my absence.
