Obsession: Pixie Hair Cuts

For the past few years we have seen many women going shorter with their hair cuts and styles. I have always loved shorter hair on myself. It liberates me to know that my hair does not define my beauty or myself. I am not afraid to cut my hair shorter or to have no hair at all. In my opinion, if you have the guts to cut off your hair you are truly happy with yourself. But this post is not a rant about short hair. This post is to idealize the newest haircut that has gotten so much popularity--the pixie cut. I am completely obsessed with this look. It's kind of a boyish but feminine cut with or without long bangs. Usually the back is tapered or cut very low. Some pixies are the same length all around. You can style it in many different ways. It is a very versatile look despite the shorter length. 

Many celebrities have cut their hair into this style. To name a few-- Michelle Williams, Emma Watson, Halle Berry, Ginnifer Goodwin, Frankie Sandford, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Charlize and Anne Hathaway. These ladies rock the pixie cut! I think the key to rocking a pixie cut is to just be confident. Be confident in your appearance. If you are considering this look be certain that you are ready. Going for shorter hair can be tricky.
